Art Moving Online

Art + pandemic = ?

About the project

Current situation with Covid-19 pandemic is changing the way of how everyone is living and doing their work. Artists are not immune to these new changes, and are highly affected due to the fact that most of the presentations of their work and interactions with audience are based on face-to-face encounters in forms of exhibitions, shows, plays, performances etc. As part of the internal survey partners have conducted, we had a chance to see what’s the current situation with artists, how they see the whole situation and which are the possible solutions to their problems which were caused by the current pandemic.
This project responds to the needs of young dancers and performers in order to successfully continue their regular work by using digital tools and technologies; in order to help them to stay in touch with their existing audience, but as well attract more people by using online platforms and social media. Artists have a chance to learn how to adapt usual face-to-face activities to be developed and implemented online, and discuss how they can use gained skills and competences to improve general quality of their work in the long-term period.

FAQ

What is this site about?

This platform was created at the early beginning of the project and is constantly updated with new online courses, materials and information during the project. The need for creation of such a platform for artists is seen in complete lack of existing alternatives or that existing platforms are not fully answering needs of all artists, especially those who are working individually as freelancers and still didn’t fully “pave their way to the stars”. When exploring the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, consortium of partners wasn’t able to find any similar intellectual output or project result that were developed for young artists and that is still in use.
